Blessed are those who
hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be filled.
(Matthew 5:6)

Blessed are you when people insult you,
persecute you and
falsely say all kinds of evil against you
because of me.
(Matthew 5:11)

This web site is about hungering and thirsting for righteousness. To read what is on this site is to forget cheap grace, whitewash Christianity and this world’s sinful corruptions.

This site is about hunger, thirst, pursuing and pleading on one’s knees for a living humble righteousness that is perfecting holiness, overflowing with self-denial, self-discipline, arduous work, purity, Holy Spirit inspired selfless love, truthfulness with obedience to all that is in accord with a Holy God’s sound doctrine. …and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:20) Since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God. (2 Corinthians 7:1)

This site is about picking up a cross, hating one’s life and denying self by following Jesus. The man who loves his life will lose it, while the man who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. (John 12:25)

Indeed, to obey in such a way as to denounce sin and secret shameful ways. Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God. (2 Corinthians 4:2)He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy. (Proverbs 28:13)

This site is about-facing head-on persecution and possibly even prosecution for being righteous while falling in love with Jesus. Blessed are you when men hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man. (Luke 6:22)

Those who hunger and thirst for righteousness will fully understand or come to understand what is being stated on the web site. Alas as Jesus said the love of most would grow cold in the last days so do not expect much acceptance of God’s sound doctrines from the so-called “super apostles” of our age. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, (Matthew 24:12) But I do not think I am in the least inferior to those “super-apostles.” (2 Corinthians 11:5)  As for those who seemed to be important–whatever they were makes no difference to me; God does not judge by external appearance–those men added nothing to my message. (Galatians 2:6)

Whether a believer or not, the honest love for righteousness, selfless love and obedience to the Living God is growing very cold. The love of God’s justice, God’s holiness and God’s loving commands is fast becoming a thing of the past. The goal of this command is love, which comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. Some have wandered away from these and turned to meaningless talk. They want to be teachers of the law, but they do not know what they are talking about or what they so confidently affirm. We know that the law is good if one uses it properly. We also know that law is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious; for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, for adulterers and perverts, for slave traders and liars and perjurers–and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine that conforms to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which he entrusted to me. (1 Timothy 1:5-11)

In short, wickedness is on the increase and even those that profess the name of Jesus are growing more hostile to Jesus. Indeed, their very lives, their worship and their profession of Jesus as Lord and Savior demonstrate they are enemies of the cross of Christ. For, as I have often told you before and now say again even with tears, many live as enemies of the cross of Christ. (Philippians 3:18)

A heart-felt welcome to all who honestly hunger and thirst for righteousness!

Onward now to Truth and Selfless Love:

Sanctify them by the Truth;
your word is Truth.
(John 17:17)
